The CLTA believes that a strong Association benefits all of its members and that the Association has a number of services to offer along with serving as a unified voice before judges, legislators, and regulators. Members are recognized each year in CLTA's Annual Directory of Members (10,000 plus circulation) and are included on this website.
CLTA's fiscal year is from July 1 - June 30. The Regular Member minimum dues for the first fiscal year beginning each July 1 is $1,000 for underwritten title companies, and $2,500 for title insurers. After the first year of membership, the annual dues are based on the proportion of each company's adjusted gross revenue to the total gross revenue reported by all companies and applied to CLTA's new fiscal year budget.
Legislation and regulation affecting the title industry are monitored by the CLTA's legislative advocates, and action is taken to support, oppose, or amend legislation as appropriate.
