State Lands Commission

Newly confirmed Lieutenant Governor Abel Maldonado is now a member of the State Lands Commission, replacing former Lieutenant Governor John Garamendi. The Commission now has a majority of republicans for the first time in 30 years. Over the years, the title industry interacted with the Lands Commission over navigable waterways and the public trust doctrine.
