1099 Repeal Signed
President Obama signed bi-partisan legislation to repeal the 1099 tax reporting requirement that was contained in last year’s heath care law. The law would have required filing 1099 reports with the IRS for any vendor payment of $600 or more rather than the current law’s requirement only for non-corporate vendors.
