Fire Fee Repeal Passes First Committee
The Assembly Natural Resources Committee has voted in favor of AB 1506 (Jeffries) to eliminate the $150 per year fire fee passed as part of last year’s budget package. This is just a first step and given the state’s finances it is unclear if any proposal that reduces revenue will pass the Legislature.
