Real Property Maintenance and Abatement Legislation Dies on Assembly Floor
Assembly Bill 2557 (Feuer) would have permitted a person whose property is injuriously affected by another property owner’s failure to maintain a vacant foreclosed property to bring an action for injunctive relief. CLTA, in addition to a number of other financial trade organizations including the CBA and CMBA, opposed the legislation.
