CLTA Political Action Committee
The California Land Title Association actively promotes the interests of our industry, while assisting in and protecting the integrity of land transfers within California. In a similar manner, the CLTA-Political Action Committee assists and protects our industry in Sacramento. For some thirty-five years, CLTA-PAC has acted as a bipartisan committee supporting candidates and legislators who are interested in and support CLTA's efforts.
In recognition of those member companies and individuals who have voluntarily given PAC donations, we have posted a list on the CLTA-PAC section of our website. Both the Member Company and Individual PAC donations lists will be updated regularly as we receive new contributions.
The CLTA has a fundraising goal of reaching over $90,000 in PAC donations for the 2011-12 fiscal year, which began on July 1, 2011. We have taken in approximately $30,000 in contributions so far. This $60,000 gap is not insurmountable and is certainly achievable with your support. If you now send in your contributions, this commitment will help us to get closer to that goal of raising $90,000 by the end of the 2011-12 fiscal year on June 30, 2012.
