This is it! The CFPB is testing its fourth and expected final version of a combined TIL and GFE form and needs to hear directly from you on how they will affect real estate closings and your business.
Remember the headaches from HUD’s RESPA reform in 2009? The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) is making changes again. The CFPB is in the final stages of re-writing and combining the GFE and TILA forms and will begin discussing a new HUD-1 this fall.
You can have a voice in this process. ALTA is engaged, but we also need as many people from the industry as possible to provide feedback to the CFPB.
What you can do:
Providing input is easy and signing up only requires your email address and zip code. Your participation and help will only take a few minutes.
