Chapter 201 (Assembly Bill 2314) becomes law on January 1, 2013 and amends Health and Safety Code Section 17980(b) to require an entity issuing a reconveyance to provide notice to a public agency that has recorded a lis pendens based on the agency’s action to abate substandard or untenantable conditions in a residential structure. The deadline for performance is within 30 days after issuance of the reconveyance.
