OPEN SPACE DEDICATION

Property granted to a Regional Park District is not "actually dedicated" under Public Resources Code Section 5540 for open space purposes until the district's Board of Directors adopts a resolution dedicating the property for park or open space purposes. Therefore, until the Board of Directors adopts such a resolution, the property may be sold by the District without voter or legislative approval.
