Hector De La Torre Files for Insurance Commissioner
Assemblyman Hector De La Torre, D-South Gate, has filed paperwork to explore a run for insurance commissioner in 2010. The third-term assemblyman would likely face off against Sacramento Democrat Dave Jones, who announced his intentions in November.
