CLTA Requests Extension for Comments re: Nationwide Statistical Plan
California Land Title Association Executive Vice President Craig Page has asked the NAIC Title Insurance Working Group to extend a deadline regarding a “nationwide statistical plan” given the ongoing regulatory process in California. The CLTA requested that the deadline for recommendations and comments be extended from this November into sometime next year. The CLTA noted that once the California regulations are finalized that it would be better able to provide comments on the California plan and how it might affect a nationwide standardized statistical plan.
