CLTA's 104th Annual Convention

The California Land Title Association’s 104th Annual Convention, May 22-24, 2011, is just around the corner and registration materials have been sent to all members. Don’t delay in registering, as space is limited at the beautiful Silverado Resort located in Napa, east of San Francisco. Register with the CLTA by April 21st to take advantage of the early-bird discount AND reserve your room directly with the Silverado Resort by April 21st to take advantage of the CLTA Convention discounted room rate. Again, don’t delay as space is limited at the Silverado.
New this year, at the request of the CLTA Board of Governors, the CLTA will hold the first Annual “CLTA PAC Golf Tournament,” and “CLTA PAC Silent Auction” which will benefit the CLTA Political Action Committee. Also this year, the Agents’ Section Organizational Meeting will once again be held on Sunday, May 22 at 4:00pm just prior to the Icebreaker Reception. We are hoping that all representatives in attendance from underwritten title companies will join us for this very important organization meeting.
Another new opportunity available this year, is the Cave Tour & Wine Tasting event. Attendees will be transported via group shuttle directly from the Silverado Resort & Spa to Anderson’s Conn Valley winery for a chance to experience the winemaking process through a private cave tour and exclusive wine tasting.
Attendees can look forward to an expert panel set to discuss the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, economist insights into the challenges still facing the commercial title industry and what lies in store over the horizon, and an update from the ALTA on the industry at a national level. This year’s convention programs will feature the following speakers:

Register with the CLTA by April 21st to be eligible for the early-bird rate. You may submit your registration via U.S. Mail, E-Mail, or Fax. The CLTA accepts checks and credit card payments for registration purposes. 2nd - Register with the Silverado Resort:
Make your resort accommodations by the April 21st cut-off date to receive the discounted group rate. Room reservations and cancellations must be made directly with the Silverado Resort.
