CLTA's 105th Annual Convention - Register Now!

The California Land Title Association’s 105th Annual Convention being held May 14-16, 2012 is just around the corner. Registration materials have been sent to all members. Don’t delay in registering, as space is limited at the beautiful St. Regis Monarch Beach located in Laguna Beach in Orange County. Register with the CLTA by April 12th to take advantage of the early-bird discount. Reserve your room directly with the St. Regis Monarch Beach by April 12th to take advantage of the CLTA Convention discounted room rate. Again, don’t delay as space is sure to sell out at the St. Regis.
The CLTA will hold the Second Annual “CLTA PAC Golf Tournament,” and “CLTA PAC Silent Auction” which will benefit the CLTA Political Action Committee. Again this year, the Agents’ Section Organizational Meeting will be held on Monday, May 14 at 3:00pm. We are hoping that all representatives in attendance from underwritten title companies will join us for this very important organization meeting. New this year, we have added a Young Professional Group networking meeting on Monday, May 15 beginning at 4:15pm, just before the Icebreaker Reception. Please contact the CLTA for additional information on the Young Professional’s Group.
The CLTA has decided to offer a group tour option again this year. If you are looking for something besides golf, please join your colleagues for a Dolphin Safari Tour. Get up close and personal with the four spectacular species of dolphins that call this area home and love to get within arm’s reach of their audience aboard the catamaran. Transportation by luxury bus is included.
Attendees can look forward to an expert panel set to discuss the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, economist insights into the challenges still facing the title industry and what lies in store over the horizon, and an update from the ALTA on the industry at a national level.

1st - Register with the CLTA:
Register with the CLTA by April 12th to be eligible for the early-bird rate. Simply mail in your completed form along with your payment by check or credit card. Refer to the enclosed CLTA Convention Registration Form for details, or visit CLTA's Online Information (found at www.clta.org under “Calendar”) or contact CLTA staff at 916-444-2647 -- for more information.
2nd - Reserve Accommodations with St. Regis Monarch Beach:
Make your resort accommodations by the April 12th cutoff date to receive the discounted group rate. Room reservations and cancellations must be made directly with the St. Regis Monarch Beach. A deposit of first night’s room and tax is required to make your reservation and all cancellations must be received 7 days in advance of reservation to receive advance deposit back. See below or refer to the enclosed Room Reservation Form for details. The room block is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis until April 12th or until the group block is full. Don’t delay in making your reservations...these rooms will sell out!
