An Express Article from the California Land Title Association
The CLTA regrets to inform its members that our past CLTA President, R.W. “Butch” Cramer passed away on Thursday, February 21st after a courageous bout with pancreatic cancer. Butch was 65.
Butch served the CLTA in many roles, but most notably as the President of the Association in 2002-2003. His career started in the title industry in the mid-1980s with North Bay Title Company, eventually working with Financial Title before his retirement. In 1997, Butch married his wife, Cathie, and they managed the Sonoma County operations of Financial Title Company until his retirement.
Butch was known for his great spirit, outgoing personality, and having one heck of a golf swing. He will be sorely missed by the CLTA staff.
Other survivors include his mother, Honora Cramer of Santa Rosa; daughter Michelle Campana of Santa Rosa; stepchildren Jessica and Joseph Cambra, both of Santa Rosa, and Breeann Cambra of Fremont; brothers Tim Cramer of Thailand and Kevin Cramer of Australia; sisters Peggy Violet of Onyx in Kern County and Mary Jo Anderson of Santa Rosa; and seven grandchildren.
For those wishing to pay their respects, a memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 15th, from 1:00 to 3:30 at the Jackson Theater in the Sonoma Country Day School at 4400 Day School Place in Santa Rosa.
