An Express Article from the California Land Title Association
Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has issued a written proclamation formally acknowledging the California Land Title Association’s century-long commitment to excellence and service to consumers and real estate professionals throughout the state.
The CLTA has also been recognized by a California Legislative Resolution for its 100 years of service to its members and the public. Authored by Assembly member Joe Coto, Chairman of the Assembly Insurance Committee, the resolution commemorates the work of the title industry as well as its positive impact in local communities throughout California, and notes that professionals in the real estate market, as well as the home buying public, benefit from the commitment to excellence that is routine in the work of CLTA members.
CLTA Executive Vice President and Counsel, Craig Page, stated that “We are honored by Governor Schwarzenegger and Assemblyman Coto’s recognition of the extremely important role that CLTA and its member companies have played in California since 1907. The hard-working title industry and CLTA look forward to another hundred years of helping to insure the American dream.”
The history of California is at its heart a history of the land. The California Land Title Association has been a part of that history for a century, encouraging professionalism, financial stability, and integrity in the title industry.
