Department of Insurance Announces First Enforcement Actions Under SB 133

Earlier today, Department of Insurance Commissioner Steve Poizner announced the “first enforcement actions” under the “new title insurance law.” The actions taken by the Department, which can be read in greater detail in the official press release, included the imposition of both a penalty and temporary suspension against the title marketing representative in question.
