Unlawful Restrictive Covenants (AB 1466)

Assembly Bill 1466 (Ch. 363, 2021) created a number of changes to existing law that required modifications to title or escrow company processes or operations. This page is intended to act as a repository of useful information on the law for CLTA member companies. All CLTA members continue to be strongly encouraged to seek legal counsel for their interpretation of the law when it comes to establishing business practices and compliance with the law.
