The CLTA is happy to announce the release of a new CLTA Titlecast episode on CLTA’s brand new Members-Only Titlecast education portal. If you haven’t already, be sure to follow the directions below to set your new password in order to access CLTA’s educational Titlecast series, free to CLTA members. The CLTA, in its capacity as an advisory organization pursuant to Section 12402 – 12402.2 of the Insurance Code, made a filing on behalf of its member companies.
The CLTA 103.1 / ALTA 28 (04-02-25) was revised to align with the recently filed policies and has an effective date of July 17, 2025. The CLTA 103.1-06 / ALTA 28-06 (02-03-10) will remain on file with the Department of Insurance and moved to the archive section for continued industry use. We’re pleased to announce that the newly enhanced CLTA website including the Members-Only Titlecast Education Portal is now live! The CLTA Board of Governors and membership-at-large elected the following Officers to serve from July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026.
First established in 2009, the CLTA Presidential Award is an award given by the current CLTA President, and is intended to formally recognize those individuals who have performed exemplary work to the benefit of the title industry.
The CLTA, in its capacity as an advisory organization pursuant to Section 12402 – 12402.2 of the Insurance Code, made a filing on behalf of its member companies. The filing updates several existing Guarantees and also adopts a new Limited Chain of Title Guarantee and a Guarantee addressing Subdivision Signature Omissions. Other new forms include endorsement dealing with a Land Address, Minerals and Energy Projects, and Tribal Waiver and Consent Agreements. Several Guarantee forms were archived, meaning they will remain on file with the Department of Insurance for continued industry use, but will no longer be reviewed by the Forms and Practices Committee for future updates.
