CLTA Celebrates Outstanding Title Industry Leader

​The CLTA Presidential Award is an award given by the current CLTA President, and is intended to formally recognize individuals who have performed exemplary work to the benefit of the title industry. 

This year, CLTA President Darrell Martin announced Mickey Vandenberg as the recipient of this year's CLTA Presidential Award at CLTA’s Annual Convention in La Jolla, California. A prior Presidential Award honoree long respected for her service on the Settlement Committee and the CLTA Board, Mickey has dedicated extraordinary time and energy in recent years to helping companies across the industry navigate and prepare for FinCEN Reporting. Notably, she worked with the California Association of Realtors on the release of a FinCEN addendum to educate buyers and sellers, and help keep transactions on track.

Beyond her FinCEN work, Mickey serves on the CLTA Board, the Settlement Committee, and various ALTA Working Groups; she served as 2024 President of the California Escrow Association, and contributes to the American Escrow Association's Government Affairs Committee. Her deep understanding of both title insurance and settlement services, paired with her tireless commitment, attention to detail, and collaborative spirit, make her a truly exemplary honoree.
