CLTA Files Revised Guarantee Forms and New Endorsements

​The CLTA, in its capacity as an advisory organization pursuant to Section 12402 – 12402.2 of the Insurance Code, made a filing on behalf of its member companies. The filing updates several existing Guarantees and also adopts a new Limited Chain of Title Guarantee and a Guarantee addressing Subdivision Signature Omissions. Other new forms include endorsement dealing with a Land Address, Minerals and Energy Projects, and Tribal Waiver and Consent Agreements. Several Guarantee forms were archived, meaning they will remain on file with the Department of Insurance for continued industry use, but will no longer be reviewed by the Forms and Practices Committee for future updates.

The new, revised, and archived forms noted above are effective April 17, 2025 and will be available in the online portal and accessible with an active subscription to CLTA’s P&E Forms publication.
