CLTA Form Filing - Effective July 17, 2025

​The CLTA, in its capacity as an advisory organization pursuant to Section 12402 – 12402.2 of the Insurance Code, has made the following form filing on behalf of its member companies and the forms have an effective date of July 17, 2025.

REVISED ENDORSEMENTS - The following endorsement was revised to align with legal, regulatory and marketplace considerations along with the recently filed policies:

• CLTA 103.1 / ALTA 28 (04-02-25) - Damage or Enforced Removal 
  This endorsement provides coverage for damage to, or forced removal or alteration of, existing buildings caused by the exercise of, use, or maintenance rights associated with specific easements. This form has an exclusion to make clear that certain casualty risks do not fall within the scope of coverage of this endorsement. 

ARCHIVED ENDORSEMENT - The following endorsement form was not updated, will remain on file with the Department of Insurance and moved to the archive section for continued industry use:

• CLTA 103.1-06 / ALTA 28-06 (02-03-10) | Easement – Damage or Enforced Removal
