FNF will collaborate with FHFA on ‘innovative’ title solutions

Fidelity National Financial (FNF) leaders confirmed they are collaborating with the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) and government-sponsored enterprises (GSEs) to offer “innovative title insurance solutions.” FHFA Director Bill Pulte announced the collaboration with FNF in a July 11 post on X (formerly Twitter).

“I had great conversations with industry today, including the CEO of Fidelity National Title,” he posted. “We will be collaborating with Fidelity, as we do with all willing industry participants! Thank you for your time and collaboration, Fidelity.”  A statement by Fidelity’s statement noted its appreciation for the conversation with Director Pulte and that it is looking forward to collaborating on innovative title insurance solutions that protect consumers and lenders while ensuring secure and efficient real estate transactions.

In a separate announcement, Westcor Land Title Insurance Co. announced that it is partnering with X1 Analytics to be a vendor in Fannie Mae’s title acceptance pilot. Westcor’s involvement in the pilot program was announced by Pulte in a July 10 post on the social media platform “X.”

Doma was the first title vendor to join the title acceptance pilot program.
