In Memorium: Margaret Serrano Foster

Former CLTA President Margaret Serrano Foster (2007-08) passed away March 25, 2026, from complications of Alzheimer’s disease. Margaret was a 4th generation Arizonian who had a forty-five-year tenure in the title business. At various points in her career, Margaret held executive positions with Minnesota, Commonwealth, LandAmerica, and Old Republic title companies. 

Margaret’s interpersonal skills, leadership and business acumen were recognized by everyone in the title business.  Margaret was not only elected president of the California Land Title Association but also served as President of the Arizona Land Title Association. She was recognized in 2018 for her community efforts with Old Republic Title’s Humanitarian Award. Margaret will be remembered by all those in the title industry whose lives she so profoundly touched.
