If you have ever listened to a Titlecast episode and thought, “I know a topic that would make a great one,” this is your invitation. The CLTA Education Committee is looking for volunteers, and we’d love for you to consider joining if you are with a CLTA member title company. Unsure if your title company is a member of CLTA? Go to our online Member Search, and enter your title company’s name. If it comes up, your company is a member!
This is the group that provides valuable educational resources and learning experiences for the industry – working together to deliver basic, intermediate, and advanced education to title company members with specialized CLTA Titlecasts. It’s a chance to shape the training that supports in-house education across the entire industry, not just within your own company. What’s involved? Less than you might think:
Committee members attend quarterly meetings, share real-world examples from their own companies, help develop educational resources that support member companies’ in-house training, put together outlines of Titlecast episodes, and suggest potential speakers. For those who want to do a bit more, there are also volunteer opportunities to help coordinate Titlecast subjects and partner with others to develop recorded presentations relevant to the title industry. Why join? Committee service is one of the fastest ways to build your professional network, sharpen your own expertise, and put your fingerprints on the resources the next generation of title professionals will learn from. If you’ve built knowledge over your career that you’d like to pass along – or you simply have preferences about what good industry training looks like – you belong on this committee.
