Radian Group Plans to Divest its Title Business

After a comprehensive review of its operation Radian plans to divest itself of its title insurance services. Radian Title Insurance Company is licensed to do business in California and is a member of the California Land Title Association.   

As part of its announcement, Radian Group Inc. announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Inigo Limited (“Inigo”), a highly profitable Lloyd’s specialty insurer, for $1.7 billion in a primarily all-cash transaction.

Radian Group plans to engage financial advisors to assist with the divestiture and in the meantime its title business will continue to operate as usual.  The plan is to have the divestiture complete by no later than the third quarter of 2026.
